Effective 5 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Connect Business Trading Pty Ltd (ABN 75 637 920 042, ACN 637 920 042), an Australian company that operates Camor ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using Camor you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you use Camor on behalf of a club, church, association or family, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
Camor is a platform that lets groups ("organisations") run their community online: chat, calendars, events, prayer, study, check-in, volunteer scheduling, bookings, public websites and more. Different organisations switch on different features, and we may add, change or retire features over time.
Each organisation is run by its own administrators. They decide who can join, what features are on, who holds roles such as Safekeeping reviewer, Editor or Coordinator, and what content is public. Organisation administrators are responsible for the accuracy of their members' records, for their own compliance with laws that apply to them (for example volunteer, child-safety and fundraising rules), and for using the safeguarding tools properly. Camor does not replace an organisation's own duty of care, screening or legal obligations.
You agree not to:
We and your organisation's administrators may remove content, restrict features or suspend an account that breaks these rules. Serious matters, especially those involving children, may be reported to the police or other authorities.
Camor is built to be safer for children. Conversations that include a child are monitored by the organisation's Safekeeping team, assisted by automated checks. By using Camor you accept that monitoring applies. Adults given restricted roles must hold a valid Working With Children Check or equivalent, and you agree to keep it current and to tell your organisation if it lapses or changes. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children's use of Camor and for the accuracy of the information they provide about them. Automated flags are only a prompt for human review and are not a guarantee that harmful content will be caught.
You keep ownership of what you post. You give us and your organisation a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display, transmit and back up that content solely to operate Camor and provide the features you and your organisation use. Content you make public on an organisation's website can be seen by anyone. You promise that you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not breach these terms.
Camor's software, design and branding belong to us or our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service in line with these terms. Third-party material provided by an organisation (for example study materials or Bible text) remains subject to its owner's licence.
We work to keep Camor available, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may perform maintenance, change or discontinue features, and update these terms. If we make a material change we will give reasonable notice, for example by email or in the app. Continuing to use Camor after a change means you accept it.
You can stop using Camor at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing us. We may suspend or end your access if you breach these terms, if your organisation removes you, or if we must do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (including content licences, disclaimers and liability) will continue after your account ends.
Camor is provided "as is" and "as available". Subject to section 11, we do not promise that it will meet every need, that content posted by users is accurate or safe, or that the service will be free of errors or attacks. We are not responsible for the actions of organisations or their members, for events they run, or for decisions made using information in Camor.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to Camor is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of data, or loss of profit, goodwill or opportunity. This does not limit liability we cannot lawfully limit, such as for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer because you breached these terms or because content you posted infringed someone's rights or broke the law.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts. Before starting formal proceedings, please contact us so we can try to resolve the issue informally.
These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Camor. If a part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up. You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a sale or reorganisation of our business.
